En Plein Air Painting Exhibit
An annual Plein Air event is sponsored by the Lynn House Gallery, and many of the artists who are featured in the exhibit also set up their easels outside to spend the day painting along the waterfront.
Some of the artists complete their plein air paintings on the day of the event, and enter them into Lynn House Gallery's annual plein air competition.

About Plein Air
"En plein air" is a French expression which means "in the open air," and is particularly used to describe the act of painting in the outside environment rather than indoors (such as in a studio). In English alfresco has the same meaning, however in Italian the term al fresco has a rather different one, either in jail or simply cool air. " (wikipedia plein air)
